Suspension of Admissions to Integration Courses: What You Need to Know in 2026

Suspension of new admissions to integration courses by BAMF — have you already heard about this?

In February 2026, BAMF published an official letter (Trägerrundschreiben 02/26 vom 09.02.2026), which states:

The document further clarifies:

At the same time, it is emphasized:

“Bereits erteilte Teilnahmezulassungen behalten ihre Gültigkeit.”

And also:

What does this mean in practice?

  • New Zulassungen are temporarily not being issued.
  • Already issued admissions remain valid.
  • Participation as a Selbstzahler is possible.

Important: this concerns the admission procedure for courses, not the cancellation of exams.

Exams A1, A2, B1 (DTZ, telc), and B2 continue to be held.
The requirements for certificates remain unchanged.

If you are planning to pay for your studies yourself…

…it is especially important to prepare in a structured way and without unnecessary loss of time.

That is why more and more people choose independent exam preparation in a convenient format — without waiting for a Zulassung, without being tied to a course schedule, and without stress.
