Your Overview of the Goethe A1 Listening Exam
The listening comprehension section of the Goethe-Zertifikat A1: Start Deutsch 1 tests whether you can understand simple spoken language in everyday situations. Structure of the Listening Section
The listening test lasts around 20 minutes and includes a total of 15 tasks. All audio recordings are played only once, which makes focus and concentration especially important. The test is divided into three parts:
