In a formal inquiry, you write a short email or letter to ask for specific details about an offer. This type of task tests your ability to formulate questions clearly, stay polite, and include all relevant points. A clear structure is essential so the reader can understand your concerns without follow-up questions.
Olena, the founder of this learning platform, develops every exercise module in collaboration with teachers and examiners from five continents. Her advice: “Before writing, just note keywords – not full sentences. Then write freely. This makes your language sound natural and helps you cover all points without overloading the text.”
Choose any online offer, write down four questions as keywords, and draft a full request in 15 minutes. Then check: Are all questions clear? Is the text under 200 words? This way, you practice vocabulary and time management for the exam.
If you write with structure, use relevant examples, and apply polite phrases, you’ll handle the “Request for Information” task confidently – an important element for a successful B2 writing exam.
Hanna Boltinova: „Thanks to the preparation with Olena, I successfully passed the B1 exam. The online lessons were interesting, I was motivated to do homework, and developed a real interest in the German language ☺️ Thank you, Olena — I recommend you to everyone!“
Alex Aldikurz: „Excellent website for exam preparation! There’s a lot of material, and all the best is collected in one place. The only downside is that the names and numbers in the listening and writing sections are spoken too fast (for me). Still, definitely worth the money!“
Anna Chin: „Hello, from August to October I prepared for the B1 exam with Olena. As a result, I passed the exam and received my B1 certificate. I would like to say that the training with Olena gave me more knowledge than the courses, because during those months my listening, reading, and writing skills improved noticeably. Speaking, of course, depends on vocabulary, but we practiced dialogues and naturally spoke more together as well.“
