The written A1 exam by telc tests whether you are able to write simple texts in everyday situations – especially short letters, messages, or emails. This skill is particularly important if you want to live or work in Germany or successfully complete an integration course. The main focus is not only on correct use of vocabulary and grammar, but also on whether you understand the writing situation properly and convey the required information clearly and completely.
In the exam, you are given a specific situation. For example, you may need to write a letter to decline an invitation, ask for information, or reschedule an appointment. The task usually consists of three to four points, all of which must be covered in your text.
Your text should be between 30 and 50 words long. You will be assessed not only on language accuracy, but also on structure, completeness, and clarity.
If you want to be well-prepared, we recommend the following steps:
Many candidates underestimate the writing section of the Telc A1 exam. Yet it’s exactly this part that shows whether you can not only understand the language but also use it practically. With a clear and structured approach to preparation, you can boost your confidence and significantly increase your chances of achieving a good result.
Start writing early. Even if you still make many mistakes – practice helps. Our website offers targeted tasks, explanations of typical mistakes, and verified solutions that will guide you step by step to improve your skills.
Alex Aldikurz: „Excellent website for exam preparation! There’s a lot of material, and all the best is collected in one place. The only downside is that the names and numbers in the listening and writing sections are spoken too fast (for me). Still, definitely worth the money!“
Andrii: „A great site where you can prepare for your German exam. I studied online with Olena to pass the exam, and it helped me a lot. Grammar was also explained in the integration courses, but Olena showed me how to actually pass the exam. As a result, I received a B1 certificate. Olena is a very good teacher – I can recommend her to everyone.“
Omar Mahmoud: „Very helpful for the B2 exam.“
