Perhaps you need the DTB B2 certificate for Approbation, an employer, a residence permit or studies. Perhaps you already work in German and want to become more confident. Whatever the reason — this exam tests something specific: professional German.

That is different from everyday German. Formal emails, job interviews, forum posts, meetings, complaints, professional phone calls — these all have their own rules. And the standard B2 learning materials do not cover that.

You want to write: „Sehr geehrter Herr Müller, hiermit möchte ich mich auf die Stelle als ... bewerben...“ — and then the sentence gets stuck. You want to give your opinion in a meeting — but your nerves let you down.

The course “Preparation for the DTB B2” follows a fixed learning plan: what you do on Monday, what on Wednesday, what between lessons. You open the plan for the day — and know exactly what to train today. Without the difficult question: “Where should I start?”.

Lessons take place in a small group via Zoom — a maximum of eight people. This is not a large webinar where you can turn off the camera. This is work: the teacher checks your texts, hears mistakes in your pronunciation and stops where many candidates lose points in the exam.
