The A1 speaking exam assesses whether you can hold basic conversations in German. It focuses on typical everyday situations in which you introduce yourself, answer questions, or engage in short dialogues. Good preparation with appropriate exercises is important to complete the tasks confidently and successfully.
In the A1 speaking test, you must demonstrate that you can use the German language in simple ways. You should be able to understand and produce short sentences – for example, when shopping, greeting someone, or asking for directions.
